After a 2 year absence Charlie Horse is back. Hopefully for the next couple of years I hope. In the Charlie Horse Galleries you will find pictures of most of the runners. I think all together there are about 230 runners along with all the winners. I want to thank the Pagoda Striders for their contribution to Special Olympics. Organizations like yours is the reason we continue to be able to offer year round sports activites for the mentally retarted citizens of Berks County, because of your contribution and many others we can do this. Let us pray it never ends. I had shot Charlie Horse by myself for the first time in 2004 and this year I wasn't exactly sure what I was supposed to do. I was only going to shoot the winners, but while I was there I started shooting runners and I just continued till they were all done. Hopefully next year I will be more prepared for this event and as I have done other years I will try and shoot the runner just as he or she passes the time clock so that you can see the actual time. Again I want to thank everyone who participated in Charlie Horse. Long live Charlie Horse.
